Leading the cast is Karen Veaner (Angels in America, The Winter’s Tale) as Lady Bracknell. Daniel Menendez (The Winter’s Tale) takes on Jack; while Casey Silidjian (The Winter’s Tale, Macbeth) plays the city dandy, Algernon.
Lindsey Cahoon (Angels…, The Winter’s Tale) will play Gwendolyn, while Rebecca Rivera (The Winter’s Tale) essays Cecily. Rounding out the cast are Elizabeth Livesay (Macbeth) as Miss Prism, while Incognita’s Artistic Director, Ross Haarstad takes on Canon Chasuble. Griffin Brahler (Macbeth) plays the manservants.
Haarstad is directing the show, while Elizabeth Kitney (Macbeth, The Winter’s Tale) provides costuming; Rosalina Maassen makes her Incognita debut as lighting designer. Dialect coaching is by Meg Elliott.
Earnest opens at Kitchen Theatre Company on Friday Aug 7 at 7pm. Additional evening performances are Sat Aug 8 and Thur–Sat Aug 13–15. There will be weekend matinees at 2 pm on Sun Aug 9 and Sun Aug 16. Tickets are available through Kitchen Theatre Company’s website (kitchentheatre.org)
